How it works
Tap Start walking and keep the phone in your hand or front pocket with the screen on — like walking directions. Your phone stops reporting location when the screen is off, so use Pocket mode to dim it instead of locking it. Each story plays once; the next one waits until you reach it.

The voice and the facts
Every story is written by a person from cited sources and reviewed before it goes live — tap Where this comes from under any story. The narration is a synthetic voice; until the studio recordings land, your phone's built-in voice reads the script.
Free, no account. We count how many times each story plays and how many walks start, and this page carries the same analytics pixel as the rest of the guide. Your "heard" marks live only on this phone.

Stories keep playing without signal once you save them. The map needs a connection.
